WOYWW

This week we are back to my beading desk which has a few bits and bobs waiting for my attention. I like to lay them out on my desk for a few days and think about what I want to do with the beads, like...do I want a short necklace or a long dangly thing, should it be interspersed with gold, silver or copper or should it include chain. Once I've thought about it, I'll sit down to create the vision in my head but it NEVER turns out how I expect it to.....ha ha!! Here's a close up of the next stash waiting for my attention.

I kept this bottle after a spot of lunch in the restaurant at Kew Gardens, I think Mark thought I had lost the plot completely when I told him he needed to carry it home in his back pack for me so that I could alter it!!!

Here's a shot of the storage space behind my workdesk. It houses a gazillion books and magazines plus a lot of my special little treasures.

These are some Winnie the Pooh pictures that my kids gave me a birthday gift when they were small.

A beautiful beaded miniature bag that was a gift from a very dear customer of mine. Plus a badge that Mark gave me on my birthday.

A few more gifts from customers and friends.

A T shirt that I got from Tim at a CHA show when his stamps first came out.

This is a great storage space for 12x12 papers. It is now also home for the lovely birdcage which is a memento of Sarah's wedding.

And finally, these items are also waiting for my attention. I want to make some new picturesfor my bathroom. They might be waiting a while as I've got quite a busy week.

I hope to be able to stop by your desk later. If you have not got a clue what WOYWW is all about, click here to be magically transported to Julia's blog, where all will be revealed.

Have a fun day snooping, Lin

You're funny! Waiting a 'while' is not a week. It's bloomin' months. And that's nothing really! Love your space, full of cherished pieces. The beady thing - how it never finished up how it is in your head - totaly me, even with a single fold in a piece of paper. You're WAY ahead!
