Hot Class!

My poor ladies worked miracles in the sweltering heat of my workshop today. All the windows open, doors open, fire escape open......not a whiff of fresh air anywhere but they soldiered on in the name of art!!!! It was a long class too....all day in fact but their hard work was well worth it.

Here's what they made. It's an painty, metal, stampy collagy thingy. They all had the same materials to start with but all chose different colours. How cool are these?
This is Fiona's

Finally, as I had decorated a smaller canvas as the demonstration part of my class, I decided to use other ready made bits to put together a finished piece. Really liking the lavender colour....not sure what's come over me lately but I'm really liking lavender with all the teal/turquoise/green combos that I like.

Here's few close ups.

I'm off for a day out tomorrow with Karen and Linda.....it's an early start but it should be a fun day....all work related of course but we are all looking forward to it. I'll tell you more tomorrow.
