Countdown to Ally Pally

Well, it has been another whirlwind week. I did get all of last weekend off work as it was Sarah's wedding but it already seems ages ago. They are having a fab time on their honeymoon in Bali and whilst they have been away, we have or should I say, I have been weeping over their amazing photographs.
I've spent most of this week with Leandra, making all the final samples for our Artsycrafts events in May and even if I say so myself, the projects are scrummy. Lot's of new techniques, some we already had in our heads and some very happy accidents happened this week which lead to some even more exciting things that we will share in May. I have got a few sneaky peeks that I am going to share with you but only a few as we can't spoil the surprise for all the Artsycrafters now can we???? Oh, and look at the mess we managed to make after just one day.....and this was after we had tidied up!!!!!! YIKES!

After Leandra left me on Thursday, it was a quick dash to Kelly's house as it was Millie's 2nd birthday. Sadly poor Mark had a rotten cold and so he didn't go (BTW he has now kindly given his cold to me and I've almost lost my voice) but I couldn't miss out on seeing the light of my life on her birthday...she's so cute, you could just eat her!

Karen and I had a real treat yesterday, this has been planned for absolutely yonks! And yesterday, it finally happened....it was so worth the loooooong wait. We drove down to Horsham and spent the day with Sarah Downton, an amazing lampwork artist who taught us how to make real glass beads....and pretty ones at that!! My own attempts left me thoroughly frustrated as they all looked like lemons....lemon in colour and lemon in shape!!! Here are some pics of my stash that I made with Sarah. All I need now is my studio in the garden and I can make beads to my hearts content....I Can't wait!!!!

Now then.....Ally Pally. If you didn't already know, it's next weekend and I am having my usual meltdown as my "to do" list is mega, mega long. But have I got some FABULOUS new stuff for you guys. We will have all the new Ten Seconds Studio goodies, PaperArtsy's amazing new stamps, new inky/painty stuff, Ice Resin, Tim's new bit's ' n' bobs (paper pads, ideaology, stamps, distress pads, dies etc), some brilliant new unmounted stamp sets from B Line, Studio 490 and the list goes on and on and on. Are you drooling yet? If not maybe this will get the juices flowing. We will be having our usual giveaways for B Line products and PaperArtsy products. B Line designs have donated some little giveaway bags and I will be making the PaperArtsy giveaways but all will be revealed next week, I can't tell you everything in one go, can I? I need to tease you a little more before I reveal everything, but I will leave you with some pics of some of the samples that I made for the show......enjoy!

Have a great Easter weekend.

Millie is absolutely adorable. I have two little granddaughters the same age and the sure eat into your heart don't they?

My first visit to Ally Pally coming up and you, Linda E and your stand are top of my list. If I get to see nothing else and shop nowhere else I'll be a happy bunny.
