Well, this has been an interesting week, busy and long but a good week. The sale has continued throughout the week and the last day will be Monday 10th August, it has been great to see so many faces visiting the shop that I have not seen for a while, I'm guessing that's due to the summer holidays.
All the goodies for the show at Stevenage have arrived safely, so here's a taste of what I have lined up for you:
Paperartsy Christmas Nut & Meg arrived in the shop on Thursday. OMG! these stamps are fab. I couldn't wait to have a play and of course my excuse was that I needed something as a sample for the show. I used the ever gorgeous Viva Precious Metal paints on this cute little canvas/frame thingy that I got for the show. Covered the wooden part with Rockstar black metal, sanded off some of the black paint and re-painted with precious metal turquoise....I love that colour!!! All stamped images are Nut & Meg, stamped on Pearl metal and again painted with Precious Metal paints. If you would like to see the sample in all it's glory, stop by at Stevenage, I'll have it on my demo table.
I've also got some great new blanks that are just calling out to be altered. I'm loving the little wooden suitcase, it could be my new TSS tool kit box as it is big enough to hold my mat set. Oops! sorry, I forgot to photograph these and now they are packed in the van.....oh well, you'll just have to stop by to see them!!!
All the new Dark Room Door designs arrived in time for the show too, very nice Christmassy ones as well as the Prague collection......although not many of those left, they've been selling fast this week and there not even on the website yet!!!
Well, that's most of the good news....the bad news is that I have lost my voice, Mark is probably cherishing every silent moment but it has been quite a difficult week for me trying to talk on the phone and get ready for the show when you feel completely rubbish. Never mind, I'm starting to feel a bit better now and hopefully by Sunday, I'll have my voice back. Could be interesting!!!
Hope to see you there, Lin
