PaperArtsy new Squiggly Minis

Because I have been covering the shop while Karen has been away on holiday, it gave me the chance to have a bit of a play with the fab new Squiggly Mini Stamps from PaperArtsy. There is a very cute birdhouse complete with birdy house guests, a light house, a windmill and a cute cat with the biggest eyes you've ever seen!! I'm not at all a cat lover lover but I have to say this is a very cute cat! They are in stock and they are on the website already.....that's a miracle in itself, as we are normally really slow in updating the website.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a few of the samples with you. The first ones are of my favourite, the little kitty cat. One is stamped on Copper with StaZon and simply embossed using my tape sandwich method and the pointy tool. The second one is done the same way but on to Pearl metal and painted with copper Precious Metal paint......very scrummy paint! You remember I said we were bad at the website thing....here's a prime example, we have all these gorgeous paints in stock and they are not on the site.....I must get that fixed this week.
The second one has been made using just the sails from the windmill. It makes a great daisy. Who would have thought that you would get a flower image from a windmill?

Finally, the birdhouse.....how adorable is this little birdy retreat? Again, stamped on copper, I was obviously having a copper day, embossed as above and mounted on some of the PaperArtsy Spring & Sprout papers. A few embossing wheels around the edge to look like stitching and Bob's your uncle. I hope these few pics get you all inspired for some really quick and easy projects.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I am off to tackle the mammoth task of sorting out all my account books for last year...these should have been with my accountant about three months ago....better late than never!!!
