I'm back!!!

I'm back from CHA....feeling a bit jet lagged but it was a great trip. I travelled with Leandra, my ArtsyCrafts partner in crime who I now call Mrs PaperArtsy. We managed to do some girlie things whilst we we there like having our nails done and more importantly BEAD SHOPPING!!! I think I'm a bad influence on Leandra in this department.

The show was much smaller this year due to the challenging economic climate but this enabled us to see the show thoroughly. It also gave us extra time to attend some classes and do lots of make and takes which was a lot of fun. I managed to catch up with some friends too which is always a joy. We had dinner with Suze which was wonderful and Suze if you read this, I can't wait until you are here and watch you work your magic with UTEE when you teach your class at my store. I also had a dinner date with Cheryl and Megan from Ten Seconds Studio, along with Carolynn and Heidi, their friends from Texas. I also met Rachel Greig from the Australian company Dark Room Door...what a lovely lady. We had been emailing each other since I started to stock her stamps and arranged to meet at the show. We all went out to dinner at an amazing restaurant called the Cheesecake factory.....I love cheesecake....they all looked so wonderful in the display cabinet but we were so full from the meal that I didn't manged to have any!!!!

Anyway, enough of my social life, I know you all want the nitty gritty on all the new stuff coming.
Well of course Tim is top of the list, can't wait to get my hands on the new grunge paper....just like grungeboard but lighter so it's more flexible and you can cover things with it....very exciting. He also has lots of additions to his line of embellishments with Advantus and of course their are new stamps too. You can view his new stamps on his blog if you have not already seen them.

Ranger have some cool new items too. They have finally made the additions of lights and brights to the alcohol ink range and have developed a refillable pen that you can put these inks into...it's very clever. They also have memory capsules which fit in their memory frames with memory glass so that you can put 3D items in the frames. Tim did a very cool make and take with this line. They have added some Earthtones to the Adirondack range of pigment inks too.

Wendy Vecchi has added some very clever stamps to her range called Studio 490, you should see what this girls does with these stamps and the new grungepaper.....unbelievable. I have a link to her blog, if you have not seen her work, you should hop over there and check it out.

Graphic 45 papers are to die for....their booth was just amazing, it was the most eye catching booth at the whole show.

Lots of companies seem to be heading towards jewelry making and have come up with clear products that you cure under UV light, this is very exciting for me, I have loads of ideas for these products already.

My Tattered Angels have a great new range of stencils and stamps to match as well as beautiful new colours of glimmer mists.

Last but by no means least, Ten Seconds Studio. Cheryl has designed some fantastic new moulds, I think these are the best ones she has ever done and I feel very lucky to have come home with a set in my suitcase. The new colours of metal are more gorgeous in real life too. There is Plum. Periwinkle and Cabin Red. Don't worry, for those of you who have pre-ordered these, the wait should not be too long, I already have them ordered

Well, I hope that is enough to start making your mouth water. When I get everything unpacked, I'll post photographs of the items I made in classes and in make 'n' takes.

I'm off to bed soon for some much needed sleep.

Hope to see you at Stevenage this weekend.

Lin
