Very quick post this evening for those lovely people who have been interested in my City & Guilds course. You asked for pictures of my silk painting......here it is!! My first attempt.
My theme for the course is Art Deco and this has to be continuous throught the course. I was quite pleased with my pencil sketch of my sunset and thought that a simple design would be best. Note to self for future reference, it is not easy to draw straight lines with Gutta!!! Having said that, it was sooooo much fun and I will do more silk painting for sure.
My name is Lin and for eighteen years I was the owner of L. B. Crafts, a rubber stamp store in the UK. At the end of 2011, I retired from L.B.Crafts in order to spend some quality time with my wonderful family. I am married to Mark and Mum to Kelly, Sarah and Alex also Nanna to Ronnie,Amillie, Sebastian, Isla and Callum who are the light of my life. My family have been so supportive throughout my creative journey and now it is time to support them whenever I can. I love to play with anything inky and painty,I love working with metal and polymer clay as well as altering stuff. My latest passion has been delving into the world of textiles.....I'm loving every minute!
