Artsycrafts at last!!!

Now I know that I have been a really bad blogger of late but I do have a very good excuse...Honest I do!!! I have been up to my eyes in kits for Artsycrafts but yay, the wait is finally over and the fun all starts in Warrington,  bright and early tomorrow morning.

So I think you'll understand the scale of the prep when you take a closer look at those pics!!! It will all be worth it though as Leandra and I are very excited by the projects that we have lined up for this weekend, three days, three projects, lots of laughs and probably a new language if you spend a long time with Leandra....she has a tendency to make words up you know!!

So if you haven't seen them before, here's a little sneaky peek of all three projects.

I promise I will blog full pictures after the event and if you following me on twitter @yoursartfully, I'll try to keep you posted with snippets of news.

I have had a few emails asking me when my classes at The Beadscene will start. Due to all the prep for AC, this has been on the back burner for a bit but the classes are ready, the first date is 1st July and my lovely son-in-law Chris is helping me to get them on line in a way that you can book and pay through Paypal for your classes. Fingers crossed, this will all happen next week.

Hope you have a fun weekend, the weather forecast is really not a June forecast at all, so maybe it's a good excuse to simply stay home and be creative.

Lin.

Prepping is extremely long and hard. Kills my back for some reason the older I get. But it looks like you've got TONS done and will breath a sigh of relief.

Be Well my Friend,

nope the hands and scissors are me lol. Thank you for a fantastic weekend, it's such a shame that I ever found out about it until the last one. I have learned so much, I also am finding my sewing machine is now out all the time and I sew everything!!! Also enjoying starting bigger projects and doing bits at a time. I still have some finishing off to do but I have decided now to rush. I did take the Tim Holtz one last year, it's where I experienced artsycrafts for the first time and I really preferred that class. Tim's was slightly to much grungy for me and I didn't really do much on my box, so after a year I have just started ripping off all the papers and am going to do a sewing theme with all the lovely stamps I bought from the weekend :-). I just have one question, I have managed to buy (didn't grab quick enough on the day lol) some rust powder, I have seen on the original that you put rust powder on the bottles, but if you have already painted them and stamped in stazon can you but the powder on and use the lemon juice to make it react if the bottles are already done? Shall keep a look out for the future of classes in my area, your art is amazing and shall hopefully get to do a class with you soon :-) Kerry x
