WOYWW 7th March 2012

It's Wednesday again already and time for WOYWW. The weeks are certainly flying by.....can you believe it's March already which means that our little grandson Seb is nearly a year old......it just doesn't seem possible!! So if WOYWW is completely new to you, Wednesday is the day when creative people share pictures of their workspace with lots of the other creative bloggy people. Our hostess, the lovely and very witty Julia gathers us together here for a spot of snooping and noseying around all the desks.....if you've not joined in before....be warned....it's a lot of fun and very addictive.

So what's on my work desk this week??? Well it hasn't really changed that much, my over-sized altered book is just where I left it as is the paint on my craft sheet that I used to paint it with!!!! The new addition to my work bench is this cute little cabinet which I got in the sale at Morrisons at Christmas.

I had forgotten all about it as I had popped it in the spare room over the Christmas holiday and found it again just before my trip to Holland. Not entirely sure how I am going to alter it yet.....it's actually really very nice as it is but I know that I will never be able to live with it just plain white.......so watch this space.

Even the contents are cute....tea bags, jam and two china egg cups.

Righty ho......I'm off to do my Nanna duties this morning.....I have a play date with a very handsome young man. I'll be back to see your workspace later.

What a great little cabinet! My branch of Morrisons never has stuff like that... or maybe I just don't go down the right aisles!! Your journal is looking fab too - must be time for some more close ups of the pages....
Have fun being nanna today....

I do like the red and white but you want to make it a Lin piece I'm sure....get the breakfast on and use up the goodies. Loved hearing about your antics in Ede and can't wait to visit in April and stroke all the stash in Lia's shop... and admire your squiggle on the Pillar of Fame! Thanks for sharing with WOYWW? Well I have 'lost' stamps and ink pads before but think even I would be hard put to lose a cabinet, especially one as pretty as this. Can't wait to see it in it's altered state.
Thanks for dropping in on me and yes, the Sarah Lawrence' book is great, just a pity you can't get the ArtGirlz charms now, will have to try to make my own with FP I think - have a face mould to start of with.

Hi Lin!
Love your studio! I'm so jealous!
I'm fascinated by your altered book. Maybe you could show some of your techniques? I feel I need to "step up" on some of my projects.
Have a great week!
Hugs!
