Flower Power......final day

So this is my favourite of all the flowers that I have shown you over the last few days.......it's so dimensional....I love it!!!!

Here's what you need to do.

Repeat everything that I showed you on day 2 up to the point where you have everything coloured. For this flower it is important to make sure that you also colour the back of the flower with alcohol ink too. Take a sharp pair of scissors and snip right into the flower, almost to the centre to create a fringing effect. As you do this, each teeny, tiny piece curls up all by itself....it's so cool to watch....you have to try it!!!!
This is what you end up with.....a flower with a bad hair day. Now it's up to you to use your hairdressing skills to tease all those little hairy bits into a gorgeous style. No need for hair gel though, it pretty much stays put all on it's own!

Now of course you have lots of different combinations to play around with. You can put the hairy flower on the scalloped one.
Or on any size of Grunge Flower.....they all look amazing. You could even start your own floristry business and make bouquets!!!

So here's a picture as a little reminder of the three variations using Paperartsy dies.....now that they are all together, you can see all the subtle changes.

Here's is a little sneaky peek of one of next years class projects which happens to have one of these gorgeous flowers on it!

Now for a bit of a recap if you would like to make any of these gorgeous flowers.

Thank you so much Lin, for sharing all these lovely flowers with us, your "blog posse"! The little triangles left over from cutting between the petals, make a very nice cornflower when the tips are all stuck on a dimensional!
