Well it has been quite a creative week this week. I have been playing around with a couple of new techniques with metal and goop whilst I have been making a few samples for my demo at The Craft Barn this weekend. I'll be posting pictures of those next week but in the meantime, here is the finished treasure chest, which will sit on my demo table all weekend and it will contain real treasure too.....well, it's treasure to me anyway!!!
Now for the close ups, I hope you can see the detail and colour. I started out with Rock Star Black metal and once embossed (and yes, I did cheat, I put it through my Big Shot) I coloured it with goop.
The trims started life as Gold Nugget and again, coloured with goop.
