B Line Bonanza / Demo Day.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all you lovely ladies who came to my first attempt at an open day. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Linda and I demo'd our little socks off with all things Distress, Viva, Grunge, metal, die cuts...you name, we did it. My only regret is that I didn't get many pictures. I gave Mark my camera to take pictures downstairs and by the time he came back up again, I had given away everything I had made!!!!
Some of my ladies travelled a long way to spend some time with me and actually some ladies stayed for the whole weekend, so I am really touched that you would give up a whole weekend to spend with me.We ran out of goody bags, which we have never done before, so you guys certainly shopped well!!!!
Here's a piccie of a sample I made, after I got my camera back. I'll have to get some photos from Linda as I did take a few on her camera.
This tag is made with Forest Moss and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink sponged all over, then all the PaperArtsy images are stamped with the same ink. There is a little bit of Crafty Notions Champagne spray, which you can't really see in the picture...shame, cos it's really pretty! The birdcage is also Paperartsy, it's die cut out of acetate first with one of their fabby new dies, then the image is stamped with Stazon. It's painted on the back with acrylic paint and then smooshed ( if you are unfamiliar with the terminology, smooshed is stuck on ) onto a black die cut card. One of Tim Holtz Ideaology locks makes a great finishing touch. All items used can be found on the website
I'm off for a cuppa, then I have a hot date with a week's worth of paperwork, so that I can have a day off tomorrow. It will be so worth it as I'm off to see my two favourite little people in the whole of the universe.....Ronnie and Millie.
Have a great Bank holiday and take care, Lin

It was a lovely weekend - Lin and I both enjoyed it very much - especially the demos! But it's even more great that you put my favourite demo on your blog. I'm going to have a play around with that today! Nettie's right, the goody bags were fantastic - and very generous!! Therefore, they need renaming!! Excel bags??? Karen as always is a star - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable! (Sorry I forgot the chocolate!!)LOL

I was so disappointed I couldn't get to the shop for the demo day. I did so want to 'adopt' some of those B Line stamps. Sounds like you had a fabulous day and I lurve the tag.
