I had a planning meeting with Linda Elbourne today......we've been cooking up a cunning plan!!!!
Basically, since starting Artsycrafts, my schedule has become way too busy for me to teach as many classes at the shop as I would like. As you know, I have become a big fan of Linda's work so as well as doing a bit of project designing for me, I have asked her to teach some classes next year too. Don't panic, I am still intending to teach classes myself as well, but Linda has been invited to teach the extra classes needed to meet the demand. She some wonderful ideas and we have cooked up some brilliant projects between us. Just to show you how fab the classes are going to be, here are some pics of a project that Linda made using her Bind It All and some gorgeous Christmas stamps from Dark Room Door and Paperartsy. I think you will all agree that her attention to detail is amazing.
Here are a few close ups.....the colours are just gorgeous
There is some triple embossing.
Grungepaper flowers
I just love all the beads, bells and ribbons as finishing touches.
Now for some pictures from the NOEL class that I taught on Saturday. We made a gorgeous, textured background with Terra, covered it all with black acrylic paint followed by Precious Metal paint by Viva and finally lots of Glimmer Mist. The letters were all embossed using Ten Seconds Studio embossing moulds and wheels and these were also painted and glimmered. Here are a few of the results.

This is a close up of Karen's work.
This one was a completely different colour combination....just beautiful!!!! Here is a close up of Daniele's textured background
It's going to be a lot of work over the next few weeks getting all the new class samples made, but hopefully it will be worth the wait. Both my classes and Linda's classes will go on sale in the New Year. I do also have a class lined up with Rachel Grieg from Dark Room Door fame!!!! If I can get the dates figured out, I will also have another guest teacher, so fingers crossed on that one.

Finally got my computer back from OH who had borrowed it for work... I ask you work! How can that be more important than following your blog Lin? Love the photos of Venice and I'm really looking forward to the classes in the New Year. Won't we all have fun?
I have some of Linda's work, and would love to come to some of the classes, even though I live miles away. Can you let me know please, love the samples
Hey Wendy, if you are on the LBC mailing list, you will automatically get an email with all the details. We will of course post everything on both blog and Linda's blog when all the samples and dates have been figured out.
