I made it!!!

Well, I finally made it to the shop today. I chickened out of driving here myself, I got Mark to drive me in the van and I am pleased that I did as the estate where I live is still really bad. In fact yesterday when I was stuck at home I saw tons of cars travelling sideways down the street!!!
I have never had to cancel classes due to bad weather but there was no way that Friday's class or today's class could go ahead. I had people booked who would be travelling from all over the country so the best thing to do for everyone was to re-schedule. Fingers crossed Monday's class will be fine.
A few days at home did give me a chance to catch up on paperwork and I managed to paint a couple of canvases which I am really pleased with. Here is a peek at the one that I have finished. It's painted with Claudine Hellmuth's Teal Studio paint and edged with a copper acrylic that I had lurking in the cupboard. It was a great opportunity to try out a couple of the new Kabuka moulds from TSS....can't wait to find time to use the rest as the designs are just fab!! I spoke to Megan at Ten Seconds yesterday and she hopes that my order will be shipped out on Tuesday....I'll let you know when they get here.

I also promised to show you some of the things I made at CHA. Some were just quick make & takes but the album was a class and so was the polymer clay jewelry.

This album was not the sort of class that I would normally take but I did really enjoy it, the tutor was Jenn Mason and she had very cleverly designed this album which contains 12 mini books, the photograph is only showing half of the album!!!
