Frustrating Day!!!

I have been waiting since 17th October for my latest Ranger order to arrive. They very kindly sent me the tracking numbers so that I could follow it'progress but for some reason the website would not play game with me until yesterday when it decided to update with all the entries since the 17th!!! The last entry being that they had tried to deliver my shipment at 7.30am...yes...AM..yesterday. Who in the heck is likely to be at work at 7.30 in the morning..well actually, I have on many occasions but not yesterday!!!!!

So today's task was get in touch with Parcel Force and find out where it is and when it will be delivered...the frustration started at this point. Parcelforce were unable to help as when an international parcel arrives and clears customs, they allocate their own tracking number and they couldn't find my packages by the American number!!!

Then Jill, my lovely post lady arrived with letters from parcelforce telling me that they can deliver my packages when I have paid the customs charge. That's fine, I can do that, but why did UPSP tel me that they had tried to deliver my packages...I will never know!!! Anyway, after 20 minutes on the phone, using their automated payment service, my goodies should arrive tomorrow, which means that I will Claudine Hellmuth's Sticky back canvas back in stock ready for my show at Ringwood this weekend...yay!!!!...I love this stuff. If you are down in the Dorset area, stop by and say hello and I'll do a quick demo for you. Details of the show are on my website.

So after all that complaining, I'd like to share this little treasure of a gift with you. I'm sure that many of you blog followers have heard of Linda Cain, if you haven't, follow the link from here and check out her work....truly gorgeous!!! Anyway, before I went to summer CHA in Chicago this year, Linda and I had been emailing a bit and we hoped to meet each other there. Well, I bumped into her on the Ranger booth and I knew it was her as I recognised some of her fabulous artwork dangling from the handle of her bag!!!! We got to chatting and I sent her a sample of the Terra Bella paints that I love so much and in return she sent me this beautiful tag that she had made. She had previously posted it on her blog and I loved it then, it is even better in real life, so here are a couple of snaps of said tag!!! What do you think..gorgeous or what?

She has used all my favourite things, Chocolate metal from TSS, Graphic 45 papers and Grungeboard....just lovely!
