Spring was in the air today

I can't believe what a beautiful day it was today, walking the dog at lunch time was just lovely, the sun was shining beautifully and the whole world was out walking their dogs, which always makes me smile. Talking of smiling, I noticed that I have 999 blog followers now....just one more to make a nice round number!!! So a lovely big welcome and thank you to all you newbies.

Yesterday I got back from the NEC in Birmingham where the UK's trade show for the craft industry is held. It's a great show and it's the place to be to showcase all the fab new products that are being launched at this time of year. As you all know, I do work closely with Mark and Leandra from PaperArtsy, so it's a pleasure to give a helping hand on the busy day of the show which is Sunday. Yesterday, I got to walk around the show to see everything else that's new. The show was actually slightly larger than last year which is a very encouraging sign but more importantly, there seemed to be a really nice vibe, lots of eager people wanting to see what's new.  Mark and Leandra had an amazing response to their new products and I have to say, that they have a lot of fab new stuff for this year. to see all the new releases, click here to pop over to their place for all the details. At the risk of boring the pants off you.....here's my stuff.....big smile on my face as I type that!!!

So not only are there three plates of stamps, there are five dies too!!! The butterfly is a two part die (one for the complete butterfly and a tiny one for the body and the little leaf stamps fits that).
There's a single leaf, a single bloom, a single branch/sprig and a three part die for the tulip so that you can create a dimensional tulip. The dies will not be ready until March but the stamps are ready to ship to a retailer near you now, so if your local stamp store doesn't have them yet, gently whisper in their ear that they are available now. If you are lucky enough to be going to the Stamperama show at Stevenage, they will be on sale to the general public for the first time there. The show is this Sunday at the Leisure Centre, Lytton Way, Stevenage.

I haven't forgotten that I promised mini tutorials. Hopefully, I will be able to start those next week. I'm on a bit of a tight schedule this week, catching up with my college work and it's Ronnie's birthday tomorrow....I can't believe he's seven years old....where does the time go?????

So I thought it might be quite nice to show you a few close up shots of some of the artwork I made for Leandra for the trade show. These will of course be on display at Stevenage, so stop by and say hello and I'll show you some of my new ideas.
