Studio Day

I managed to get another day in my studio today....two days in a row.......result!! I spent the day making a few samples using some of the products that I will be working with in my demo at Colemans Craft Warehouse on Saturday. I will be using some PaperArtsy goodies.....Fresco Finish paint, dies, Crunchy paper and of course some of their fabulous stamps. My demos will be all about the paint, pretty much everything that I do will use paint in some way.....sponging paint, stippling paint, spraying paint and funnily enough, painting with paint!!!! If you are free on Saturday, pop along and say Hi, I will be there from 10am - 4pm although I believe the warehouse opens at 8.30!!!

So here are a couple of the things that I made today, this one has a botanical theme, mainly using the beautiful minis that were released earlier this year.....I love those stamps!!! I also used one of my all time favourite PaperArtsy stamps.....the tall flower from HP1009.

This samples has a ton of stuff going on.....Fresco paint over Ferro texture paint, stamping and painting on acetate, a Crackle Glaze background, die cutting & embossing, painting the metal embellishments..... no wonder it took me all morning to make it!!

Anyways, if you would like to see these in the flesh, keep Saturday free and come along to Colemans, it's all free and I think there are five demonstrators to watch.......what a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon!

Hope to see you there,
Lin

Oh!!! Fabulous Lin, love both but the second is my all time fav - - I have just bought about a mile of chain from e-bay and I really need to know how you have attached it, love that idea of using it as a frame xx
