Christmas PaperArtsy/Lynne Perrella Style

Today was a creative and festive day. I have had all the fabulous new Lynne Perrella Christmas stamps by Paperartsy sitting on my workbench looking at me for a couple of weeks and it has been driving me crazy that I have not had the time for a good old play. Today however was ear marked for just that purpose and here's what I made.

I used two of the stamps from LP017 for this card. All the images were painted with Fresco Finish paints but the edge of the card was coloured with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. The crumpled background paper is Paperartsy's Crunchy Paper that I painted with Fresco and after scrunching, hit the high points with Classic Treasure Gold.

I love how the Fresco Finish paint and Treasure Gold works so will on anything....I used them both here on Tim Holtz Ideaology corners.

On this card I used another image from LP017 plus Mini 44 and again I used Fresco paints to colour the image but this time I used Tea Dye Distress ink around the edges.

For card No. 3, I used the Russian Dolls from LP016 and LP019. I just love how I am able to blend colours and custom mix colours of Fresco to colour my images. I used a touch of Treasure Gold on top of the embossed snowflake background that was coloured with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. (it looks like this card is actually mounted on a green card.....sorry to fool you, it was just the card that I used as a backdrop for my photographs!!)

And last but by no means least, card No. 4. This has to be my favourite image from the Christmas Lynne Perrella stamps. This lady is just so beautiful.....very elegant and does not need anything else with her really to make a stunning Christmas card......I love her....A LOT!

She is from LP016 and I used some more Crunchy Paper to die cut some Grunge Flowers to make the flower embellishment, which had the Fresco Finish and Treasure Gold Treatment.

I know that it is only November but before you know it, it will be December and you will start to panic about your Christmas cards, so I hope that these inspire you to make a start on you Christmas cards.

Tomorrow I make a start on some samples for my demo at Colemans Craft Warehouse this Saturday, if tomorrow is as productive as today, I'll be back to share my samples with you tomorrow. If I am not back tomorrow then you will know it all went horribly wrong!!!
