Studio update

I had a fun day yesterday....Leandra and Mark came to play! Leandra and I spent a very enjoyable day catching up on all the gossip and news but more importantly playing....working really.....on our project for Artsycrafts in February....it's all coming along very nicely. So whilst we were snug, warm and dry, the two Marks were outside in the rain finishing off the roof to my new studio and trying to get a waterproof covering on it to try and protect it from the no so nice weather.Today........we have lights and all the power sockets are going in plus the insulation for the walls....it is going to be the bestest studio ever......me thinks I am a very lucky girl.

Okay, that's me for today.....short and sweet. I'm off to make more tea for the workman.

Take care, Lin

Looking good! My Husband and I built me a studio but it ended up being used to hold his Horse Tack and Mechanics Tools when he retired...I settled for the foyer between the livingroom and diningroom instead LOL Hope you share more photos!

Hi Lin! Happy new year to you and all the readers on this brilliant blog that I've only just discovered on New Year's Day - very appropriate, as I am seeking new inspiration for all things artsy and craftsy - I'm pretty sure just by the few posts I've seen/read already that I've come to the right place!

I was wondering if you've ever written any posts on dough craft, or if there are any tutorials or magazines dedicated specifically to dough craft. I am a bake-aholic, and also into crafts of all types, and I am looking for a way to combine the two...via dough craft.

Thanks again for such a great and lovely and friendly not to mention very welcoming and fun blog.

the studio looks great even in it's half finished state. I adore all the windows! Hmm...wonder if my landlord will let me turn my balcony into an enclosed studio.... at the moment my whole bachelor apartment is an art studio*L*
