It's been a fun day today

Today eight lovely ladies travelled all the way from Holland to take a class with me. One poor lady had to get up at 4am this morning....the rest of the group had a lie in, they didn't get up until 5am!! They made my printers tray which was from last years schedule of classes, it has been booked for ages but they had to reschedule....I think it was worth the wait. They were a dream group to teach, so thank you Lia and friends, it was a fun day. I just wanted to share a quick studio update with you guys......here's how the inside is looking....windows....a door and real electric lights and everything. I'm so excited, I can't wait to move in.....I might never go home again, it's big enough for a bed, TV, fridge, computer as well as all my bead making equipment and artsy stash.

I'm hoping to actually find some time this week to get creative, I really need to make some new samples for the show at Stevenage and I need to do this before I leave for CHA. I've also got a date with the Artsycrafts team on Sunday so that we can have a run through of the project that our guests will be making in the session with me and Leandra in February.
Okay that's me for the day, it's now 8.45pm....enough for one day.
Take care, Lin
P.S. Oooo nearly forgot to say thank you to all of you who booked classes on Saturday. An even bigger thank you for your patience if you were on the call back list. I'm sorry it took forever to get back to you but it was a very long list!!!

So looking forward to seeing what we will be making in Feb. The workshop looks great with all those windows....did you need planning permission for such a large building? I'd like one one day if I ever got the money ;)

Wow, what a fabulous studio you're going to have. It's looking really good Lin, I can understand your excitement! I'd love to do the same but I think my dog might have something to say about me taking over 'his' territory.... looking forward to seeing the end result.

Looks like everyone is having a great time. The studio space looks great too. I just started volunteerig at an art therapy school and in return I get to use their art supplies and studio! I'm so excited to have real studio space to work in. I have a question: if you wanted to get work in some sort of creative enviroment (such as a studio assistant or such) how would go about applyig/looking? I'm an artist looking for work and thought i'd ask since you teach art. Oh, and I am now following this blog (found it through altered minds blog)

Thanks for a great day Lin, I really enjoyed it. Maybe the next time I come I'll be able to play in your new studio - it looks great!
