Studio update

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and that the awful weather here in the UK didn't disrupt your plans to visit your loved ones. I was concerned that my parents wouldn't be able to make the trip, they only live in London but they had quite a lot of snow and so did we. Anyway, although their trip took a looong time, they made it and our whole family spent Christmas day at my oldest daughter Kelly's house with her husband Jimmy and my two favourite little people, Ronnie and Mills. Her name is really Amillie but everyone calls her Millie. She goes to nursery school and they suggested they everyone call her Amillie from time to time so that she's not confused. Well, let me tell you, there are no flies on that two year old. Kelly asked her what her name is and her reply......"I'm Millie at home and Amillie at school".....don't you just love kids????

Now that it finally stopped snowing and even though we have snow on the ground still, Mark has been working his little socks off on my new studio. I feel so guilty that he's out there in the freezing cold but he's itching to work on it, me thinks he's really enjoying it. As you can see, it's coming along a treat.

I just wanted to remind you that we re-open the shop tomorrow at 10am for the start of our winter sale.......lot's of half price bargains to be had. The snow is pretty much gone now, so driving conditions are fine....I hope to see you there.

Okay, that's me. I'm off to London today with Karen and Linda. Karen had a special birthday yesterday so Linda and I are going to spoil her today....it's all a surprise, she has no idea where she's going and it's safe for me to post this as I am typing it whilst she is on her way here!! I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.....if she let's me.

Mark is making fantastic progress on your studio. I know from personal experience what a difference space like this makes - you will love it. I just hope Mark has good insulation planned though as I have to vacate mine in the winter and the moment.

Have a fab day in London.
