Thank you Tim....I had a blast!

I'm guessing by now that all of my lovely, lovely followers will have read the announcement from Tim Holtz on his blog yesterday. Sadly, Tim's Design Team is no more. Everyone who follows Tim knows that he has an incredibly heavy schedule, lots of travel, lots of classes, all his work for Ranger and on top of that designing new products to wow us, so it is no great surprise to realise that one man simply cannot do all this stuff.

I felt the need to use this blog post as a platform to publicly thank Tim for the opportunity, it truly was a privilege to be selected (the reality of it was that I was tickled pink!!!) and to be able to share my passion for what I do with all you guys. Of course the whole team are disappointed that our little dream has come to an end but without Tim adding our names to his blog roll, many of you would not have found us. So Tim, I enjoyed every minute of my time sharing my ideas with your products and of course will continue to do so. I would also like to thank everyone who left fabulous comments on Tim's blog following the announcement, they were all amazing!!

I've been working on a whole host of metal flowers this week and this one is using Tim's Tattered Florals die. I'm planning on having a flower power week with step by step instructions, there are four flowers in total, so I'll see you guys soon with all the details.

Thanks again Tim, I had a blast.

Lin

It's such a shame that the DT is no more. I loved seeing your samples, but your work is inspirational anyway, that will never change. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the workshop! Judith xx

You deserved a longer spell on the design team but your work was inspirational before that and I'm sure it will continue to be.

Am grateful for the design team since you are the one's that sparked my interest in Tim's style. I'll be following you closely since I don't want to miss out on a single one of your creations. Can't wait, really can't wait for the flower tutorials ;-)

Dear Linda --
As I said to Karen, I'm so sad for the whole DT, and absolutely gob-smacked . . . . but there are sooooo many of us who appreciate your wonderful work (and that of the other DT members, too), and I'm sure we'll all follow you forever and ever -- Tim's DT or not! Your blog is a constant inspiration, and your tutorials are bewondered all over the world. Thanks -- as always -- for being there for us all, and for being the super-kind Missie Linda that you are.
Love and thoughts - Missie Sally

Hi Lin,

It is sad, but as you said Tim is such a busy man. And as I mentioned yesterday - I will continue to follow your blog. And I can't wait for the flowers. The one on today's post is beautiful!

Sad to see the demise of the team but sure it will continue 'off it's own back' so to speak. Ranger products are such fun and offer a versatility second to none. I have also had fun recently with Leandra's new papers and made a 'flower power' plaque. I thought how much fun a class would be. Just wish I was closer to attend yours! Kind regards, Sue and Paul x
