Ideaology jewellery

I am still playing around with Tim Holtz new Ideaology goodies and decided to make a few pieces of wearable art as a design team piece for Tim. Two of them are destined to become pins and the other two necklaces.

Here's a close up of one of the pins.....it's not quite finished yet, I'm still searching for the right thing to dangle from the bottom ring, I just need to think about it a bit longer. I put some paper from Tim's Vintage Shabby paper pad between two pieces of frosted Memory Glass and popped them in a Memory frame. I used Glossy accents to stick the clock image behind the facet and also to glue the lock and leaves in place. I do like to leave this type of project over night to dry just to make sure that everything is really secure before picking it up.
This next piece is going to be a necklace but I can't decide if I should put it on a pearl necklace or keep it simple and use a pretty ribbon. The necklace thing might be pearl overload!!!! For this piece I used the 1 x 1 size memory frame and glass, I like this size as it gives you rings on both top and bottom which makes it easier to make into a necklace and still have the ability to dingle dangle stuff from the bottom like this gorgous tassle from the Baubles pack.

This piece uses one of the larger rectangle facets and although it's a little tricky, the Ideaology corners fit nicely as a roof, so you can make your project into a little house shape......very cute.

I think this last piece is my favourite. Same Memory Frame and glass as the first project, the
2 x 2 size and this is going to be a pin which I think I will wear A LOT!!!!

From the close up shot I think that you can just see that I stuck a cog from Tim's pack of Sprocket Gears underneath the round facet.......I'm liking this look very, very, very much. These are not difficult projects to make, it is simply stuff glued together.....anyone can do this

The finishing touch is to dangle little treasures from the bottom of the piece, this gives it movement and makes the whole piece way more interesting.

All of the items used in these projects are available on the website, click here to hop over there now.
Have a creative day, Lin
