The journal continues

Between serving customers in the shop today, I messed around with the journal pages that I had started to prepare yesterday. These pages are all about my all time favourite films and I decided that I would put them in order of preference....crikey, that's difficult you know. If you are like me, memories mean a lot (slushy I know, but hey ho, I'm slushy through and through) and deciding if a film is going to be no. 1 because it's a great film or do you choose a film that has the most important memory attached to it. Anyways, once that whole saga was figured out, it was plain sailing.

I decided to cut some little paper squares where I could put my 1- 10 numbers. All outlined with my fabby new Pitt pens. I thought I was an ink and paint junkie (that's what Leandra called me once....I didn't take offence as I think she's right!) but now I'm a bit of a pen addict too....quite worrying really!

Then I slotted in the numbers.

Some, I wrote the word and the rest just had the number if it was a small square.

Must admit, I used a stencil for my title and I stamped the names of the films, but everything else is hand written in my very own illegible scrawl.

Yep, I guessed you've spotted it....my number four is up side down....rats!!! I'll make another one and stick it over the top......shush....don't tell anyone.

I used Tim Holtz tissue tape for the first time today on these pages.....LOVING this stuff. It just blends right into the paper....amazing. What's even more amazing is that it's actually on the website to buy too, now that's a miracle in itself. Finally, does anyone know what this flower is? It's so pretty, the gardener's planted some really gorgeous flowers in my tubs for me but foolishly, I didn't think to ask what this is.

That's it for today.
Take care, Lin

Love your journal pages, lucky you being able to craft at work - course, it helps having a craft business, lol!
I think its a Cosmos too. I googled "cosmos flowers" - and a pink one just the same came up! (wouldn't want you to think I know one flower from another, despite all my trips to Kew Gardens!)

Yep, the flower is a Cosmos. I designed a Cosmos flower paper a few years back, it was a nice sepia colour.
