I'm on my way to CHA!

It's my last day at work before setting off for CHA in California......my bags are packed....I'm ready to go (isn't that a line from a song?) and I'm really quite excited. I think I may have mentioned that once or twice before but I really am!!!! I'll be catching up with friends some old, some new....oooh, not old as in age, old as in long standing. Then of course there's shopping for the shop to do......what a chore!!!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I'll be absent for about a week as I have no intention of going anywhere near a computer whilst I am away.....I'll be a tad busy, taking classes, watching demos, dining out and I've even agreed to film a Taco Tuesday video with Cheryl and Megan.....not too sure if my nerves will hold out.......you know what I'm like about cameras!!!!! You might not recognize me....I've got a new hairdo!!!!

I was invited by Ranger to take part in their designer challenge this year. You are sent a box of supplies and substrates and asked if you will create a piece of artwork for the display on their booth at CHA. I felt honoured to be asked and I promise I will share it with you upon my return. At the moment, it's all hush, hush top secret!!!

Have been so busy getting ready to go that I have not had a chance to create anything new for a week or so, so I thought I'd leave you with a couple of piccies of something I made a few years ago. This is one of my favourite pieces, it's mainly polymer clay, it's got a bit of TSS metal that has been embossed on a border mould and coloured with alcohol ink. Hope you like it.
