Artful Blooms

I can't tell you how much fun I've had playing with my new stamps, I've made some real quick and easy cards, one very in depth project and some projects that fall somewhere in between those two. Today I would like to share the big project with you as it shows pretty much all my new stamps in one go and besides that, I really like it!!! Another bonus is that that will all co-ordinate beautifully with all of JOFY's new stamps.......bonus!!!

As you can see, it's all about the flowers and hand carved designs. Most of these images were created for use in my City and Guilds course that I did last year and when Leandra saw them, she asked me if I would like them to be included in the PaperArtsy range, under the banner of Eclectica³ as one of their guest designers. I thought about it for all of thirty seconds before saying yes and then my head started buzzing with all the possible things I could use them for. These stamps were originally designed to be used on fabric so they are very bold, a bit quirky and all very mix'n'match which set me on a path to see how many different flower combinations I could come up with.

This large project shows quite a few of my flower/stem combos so here are a couple of close ups, so you can hopefully see them in more detail.

My plan is to show you over the coming weeks, little mini tutorials, showing you how to make each of the flowers but in the meantime, if you are going to the show at Stevenage on Sunday 24th February, I am pleased to announce that I will be on the PaperArtsy stand in the morning, demoing some of my ideas with my new stamps......hope to see you there.

Stunning Lin, when I saw you Sunday I hadn't realised the stamps were yours and it was fabulous using them on the workshop. The designs are lovely and so easy to use. Congrats on having your designs made in rubber and having some coordinating dies too. It was lovely to catch up with you as always and I see Chrissie has already seen the news above.
