A Fun Thursday

I had a fun day yesterday, catching up with the lovely Karen. Although we text and chat on the phone often, it's not quite the same as a get together for a good old natter and a gossip and she arrived with cheesecake which was really, really yummy!!!

We spent the day in my studio playing with our Gelli Plates . These are sooooo much fun, if you haven't got one, I would recommend adding to your Christmas wish list!!!! When I get a little more time, I will blog a step by step thingy for you but at the moment I am busy with college stuff and sample making for my demo at Colemans Craft Warehouse on 24th November 2012.

In the meantime, here are some pics of the background papers I made.

And last but not least.....in fact I think this is my favourite one!
Okey dokey, that's me for today, I've got a hot date with some soy wax and a college sketchbook!

Hope you all have a fabulous and creative weekend.
Lin

Here we go again, every time I think I must really have enough stuff to see me out someone intrigues me with a product I've never heard of! The results are lovely, will keep an eye out for the tut! Cindy

Hmmmmm -- wonder if they are something new for me? Totally unheard of over here in France. Am going to a big show on 22/11 in Paris (all types of crafting things), and will keep my eyes open just in case some bright spark has brought them there. The results are so beautifully subtle -- who sells them?!!!!!

Able to make lovely norebook covers but katy Crane has made some lovely samples at AFTH. Can't wait to see what you do with yours Lin!!

Lin I love your backgrounds. There is nothing like, in my humble opinion, the playing and exploring that this type of creating encourages. Every tiny scrap has something of interest and is always 100% unique. Love them!
