Are you sitting comfortably? Here's my blog hop project.

I chose to use the following products on my  8" x 8"canvas board

Step 1. Using a flat, wide paint brush, I blended together Mermaid and Granny Smith Fresco Finish Paint.

Step 2. Snowflake Fresco through the "Brickwork Factory" stencil created the perfect first layer on my coloured background.

Step 3. Once the Snowflake paint was dry, I used a baby wipe to apply a layer of Hey Pesto Fresco over the green areas of the canvas. This is a translucent colour and also my all time favourite Fresco!!!

Step 4. I repeated this technique with Beach Hut over the blue areas.

Step 5. More Snowflake, this time through the Rembrandt's Words stencil. My intention was to fill a few of the gaps. I also tinted this with Hey Pesto and Beach Hut.

Step 6. Next up....Orange Blossom Archival ink to stamp the circle of dots from ELB29.

Step 7. You can never use too much Snowflake in my opinion when creating layers. This time, I used the biggest stencil, Verdant Moon. I turned it on it's side so that it looked like a sunrise or sunset peeking over the top of a brick wall.

Step 8. Using a small paint brush and South Pacific Fresco, I created a shadow around the edge of the moon to soften the huge, stark expanse of white.

Step 9. I replaced the stencil to apply a layer of Gold Fresco on the brickwork. I like to apply the Gold over the Snowflake, it gives it a bit of extra pop. If I had applied the Gold over the blue and green background, several layers would be needed to achieve the same effect.

Step 10. With some scrap paper in place to protect my Gold brickwork, I applied Caribbean Sea Fresco to my grasses stamp with a small piece of Cut'N'Dry foam and blended a small amount of South Pacific around the edges of the stamp before printing on the canvas.

At this point, I wasn't sure if the piece looked finished. I was pleased with how it was looking but felt that it needed some kind of embellishment.

Step 11. A strip of narrow Washi Tape and some painted trinkets added the finishing touches.
