Travel Bracelet

I've been having a bit of a dabble with some new techniques on one of my all time favourites.....shrink plastic. Haven't played with shrink for a few years now and I had forgotten how much I love this stuff, so I might be shrinking everything in sight for a while. Anyway, I had this idea to make a travel bracelet and two of the new Tim Holtz sets of stamps fit the bill perfectly. I used CMS108 Travel Labels and CMS102.....click here to view them on the website.

The magic ingredient for this is Paperartsy's Fresco Finish white paint....I know, I know, I keep plugging it and it's not in stock yet but I hear from Leandra that it shouldn't be too long now and once we have it in stock, I will post a step by step tutorial for the bracelet but in the meantime, I'll just let you know that I also used the new Distress Stains to colour my shrink.
It's a fabulous effect and I was so pleased with it that I wanted to show it on my blog even though we haven't got the paint yet.......we've got everything else of course!!!

I'll be wearing the bracelet at Version Scrap and Ally Pally and if you are going to one of those shows, I'll be happy to show you in person how it's done.

So check back soon for the step by step instructions.....it's dead easy!!!
