Weekend round up

Well that has certainly been a whirlwind weekend....loads of fun but also a tad exhausting. It started bright and early on Saturday morning with my Textured Canvas class which I taught at The Bead Scene in Potterspury. I had twelve very lovely ladies who all worked really hard and produced amazing artwork. I'm sorry that I can't show all twelve of them but here are a few so that you can get the feel of the class. It was so lovely that everyone selected different colours and different stencils so even though they all followed the same instruction, everyone's interpretation was different.

I believe this gorgeous sample was the work of Sue.

Next up.....Lisa

And Rachel

I believe this piece belongs to Jenny.

And last but not least, Julie's.

So I think you'll agree, they were a very talented bunch of ladies!!!!

Class finished, a mad dash home to unpack all the class supplies and re-pack my demo kit bag ready for Stamperama at Stevenage for a fun day of demos with my wonderful friends, Mr & Mrs PaperArtsy.

I saw so many familiar faces today, chatted lots to folk that I haven't seen in a while and demoed my little socks off cos it was busy, busy, busy! First time I looked at my watch was 3.30 !!!! You know it's a good day when time flies by like that.

Now I know I was a bit excited last week at the trade show to see my stamps on the PaperArtsy stand and watching lovely retailers placing orders for them along with all the other new stuff from JOFY and Sara Nauman but I can tell you now, it was not as exciting as the thrill I got today when I turned around to see the hook where my stamps were, had one or two left hanging on it and it had to be re-stocked. Then to actually see people with them in their shopping baskets.......made my little heart go all of a flutter!!!!! So thank you, thank you, thank you to all you lovely people, you made me a very happy girl today. So huge thanks again to Mark and Leandra for the opportunity to share my stuff with all of you, you guys are the best!!!

I'll leave you with a few pics of some of my demo pieces from the show today.

  1. My!!! How busy was that Stand Lin??? Every time I came round the crowds were so dense, I could not get near enough to really watch you, and definitely no chance for a chat, apart from our very quick "Hekko"!! lol!!! I thought the whole show was very busy, always one I really enjoy and lovely to see you back where (we all think) you belong"!!!!
