I've been itching to have a little play since last week and here's what I came up with.
I started by covering a large tag and a piece of grey board with some of the beautiful paper. Painted some corrugated card with a mix of Chocolate Pudding and Mocha Mousse Fresco Finish paint and stencilled some Snowflake Fresco through the mesh stencil on to the tag.
I used some Chocolate Pudding Fresco through the next stencil before tearing off the bottom section.
I loved the tag at this point and really wanted to leave it as it is, so simple but very pretty. Of course there was no way that it would remain like this, I love the fun of rummaging around to find just the right embellishments. So here are a few close up shots of the embellishments that I chose.
This is one of the little tags form the Time Traveller Tags and Tickets pack. I stamped some script in Coffee Archival before adding my trinkets.
A cluster of flowers, some are PaperArtsy die cuts (Grunge Flower and Scallop dies) using my new paper.
I used my Tulip die by PaperArtsy and stamps from ELB08 to make the 3D tulip and one of the quotes from ELB05.
I really like the colour combo of this piece, a little bit of Antarctic Fresco worked so well with the other vintage colours.
I've got a busy week this week. It's a week of appointments and a little shopping trip with my little grand daughter Isla who is about to celebrate her third birthday. Then on Saturday......I'm off to the home of Colouricious in Amersham for a three day class....yes three whole days with the super talented Beryl Taylor. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am.
Oh wow, stunning as usual! I have that mesh stencil and it's so lovely.....but now I have seen that other one too well I may have to shop! You work is so very beautiful
