Fun Day At Colemans

I had such a great day yesterday demoing at Coleman's Craft Warehouse in Rushden. On the last Saturday of every month they invite a bunch of demonstrators along to share their tips, techniques and all the latest products to their very loyal following and the best part about it is that it is completely free of charge to the general public. The warehouse is really massive and is choc full of all sorts of crafting supplies including all things inky, painty and stamp related goodies, loads of fabulous paper and embellishments for the avid scrapbooking folks, a huge selection of dies, beading supplies, baking supplies and one of the biggest selections of adhesives that I have ever seen. Of course they have way more than this on offer but there are too many things for me to mention. Another treat for the customers on demo day is cake!!! You are welcome to free tea, coffee and cake....what more could you ask for on a free day out?

I was of course demoing with PaperArtsy goodies......my Eclectica stamps and dies, Fresco Finish paint, Grunge Paste, Treasure Gold, the new chipboard shapes that are the same shapes as some of my stamps, Crafters Workshop stencils and I am happy to report that loads of people went home owning quite a few of those goodies. The only downside to the day was the heat, it was really very humid yesterday and not at all pleasurable. Thankfully by the evening, we had a lovely thunder storm in my neck of the woods which has helped enormously.

I saw sooo many familiar faces yesterday, lovely people who were customers when I had my shop, people who I have chatted to on Twitter, friends from far and wide popped in to say hello which was just lovely. So thank you to each of you for stopping by, I really appreciate your very kind comments and watch this space for details of classes that I will be teaching there later in the year.

I didn't take any photographs on the day, it completely slipped my mind but I would like to share a few pictures of some of the things I made yesterday now that they are stuck together!!!

And here are a few left over backgrounds

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

  11. Thanks for a brilliant demo on Saturday Lin I could have sat and watched you all day and yes I was one of those who went home with paints, stamps and stencils to "play" with. Your blog is always amazing but to actually see your creations for real is inspirational.
    Thanks so much for sharing
