I did manage to get painty today too, not the fun variety though, a spot of bedroom decorating, not my favourite pastime at all but I'll be pleased when it's done.
So......what does one do when one is painting a bedroom......well, one's mind wonders aimlessly whilst singing at the top of one's voice to Adele. Then bingo, I have a genius idea for a project with Grungepaper and I then can't wait to finish said painting so I can go and try it out. Biggest disappointment of the day.....no Grungepaper at home....will have to wait until I go back to work on Tuesday to see if it will work.....the suspense is killing me now.
The highlight of my day has to be the progress in my studio......lookey, lookey......I have work tops....am sooooo excited. One side of the room has worktops at a height for standing at.
Ouch, Ouch and WoW.
ReplyDeleteYour room looks like it is going to be fabulous.
hope you have not had anymore accidents and the day continues to improve.
Looking forward to seeing your grungboard idea come to life. Also to seeing your finished room.
OOh, can't wait to see what you were planning with the grungepaper! I can't believe you ran out at home - shame on you, lol!! Have a great day out tomorrow with your daughters.
ReplyDeleteOuch and an even bigger OUCH ... I feel your pain! No grungepaper Lin .. that's not on is it! Look forward though to seeing said project. My mind wandered when I was reading the painting part lol, wonder what Fresco Paints would look like on a huge scale .. like a bedroom wall, with crackle glaze too ... hmmm. Have a lovely day out tomorrow. x
ReplyDeleteyour studio looks great .
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing what you are planning with the grungepaper.
sorry about your injuries, but your workshop is looking fab!! - not at all jealous (she lies)
ReplyDeleteow wowzer that shed (read Craft Palace) looks so amazing, well done to Mark for all his hard work, bet you cant wait to get in and decorate. :)
ReplyDeleteOoooh Lynn it sounds like you have had a painful and slightly frustrating day, but the progress on your shed must be so satisfying. As someone who also crafts in a shed, believe me you will want to move in! Thise shelves under the work surfaces look really useful - you will have them filled in no time! Elaine
ReplyDeleteoh crikey lin...you sound as though you were having a "kath" day..no grunge paper at home...crikey big-a-mistake-a to make-a...loving the new craft room...can't wait for the grand opening...am I invited...hugs kath xxx
