A few weeks ago, a lovely lady called Starla from the US contacted me asking my permission to use my metal flower techniques in a video and blog post for splitcoast stampers. Well of course I was thrilled to hear that my work had inspired her enough to want to use my techniques and gave her my blessing to go ahead. It is very refreshing when someone takes your idea and takes it to a place of their own but most importantantly acknowledges where the idea originally came from, which sadly is not always the case. And now for an unashamed plug for my grandson Ronnie's school. Who can believe that he's five years old already, well actually he's five but going on 21!!! He attends Swallowfield Lower school in Woburn Sands and they are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. To mark the event they are hosting a Summer Ball on 18th June. It will also be a fund raising event as they need to raise some urgent funds to improve the school's facilities. The celebrations will be held in a marquee in the school grounds where the guest can enjoy and evening of fun, good food and music.
