WOYWW

Yikes, it's Wednesday again...the weeks sure do fly by don't they? Today's desk is the one in my workshop, above the shop, where I create all the class samples. Linda and I are madly working on the next series of classes and here are the first two. The Melt Art one is finished but the canvas/metal/goopy/painty/stampy creation still needs a bit of tweaking. Closer shot of the Melt Art project.

The canvas thingy.

Oooh, I did a bit of a test spray of the Crafty Notions Spraypaques on a bit of our paper table cloth. Folded it over and let dry.....am I the only one that thinks that this looks like a butterfly?

Me thinks I need to either clean my heatgun or reapply another layer of alcohol inks.

And finally, my very new Ranger apron which Linda E. got fro me as a replacement for the very singed one!!!

If you would like to join in the fun of desk hopping, click here to pop over to Julia's blog where she will explain how it all works.

  10. Ah Mrs Brown you see a butterfly do you!?!

The Rorschach inkblot test is a psychological projective test in which a subject's interpretations of ten standard abstract designs are analyzed as a measure of emotional and intellectual functioning and integration. The test is named after Hermann Rorschach (1884-1922) who developed the inkblots, although he did not use them for personality analysis.

  21. Hmm, just come back for another look, see I didn't comment yesterday (Blame the cold!) Love the samples, stunning.
I can see a butterfly too - although, looking at the golf from St Andrews, maybe a waistcoat that John Daly would wear, as he goes for bright colours, lol. (sorry, you know I will watch any sport!!)

  22. I've no doubt that there's a deep reason that you see a butterfly and I do not, and I think it's safer (and cheaper) not to go there! Love your workshop projects, and yeah, clean the heat gun and re-do it in bright colours!!
